System reports error message: "Unable to open video files." How can this error be resolved? |
The number one way of diagnosing the problem with videos is to directly open Quicktime and then use it in turn to open the videos that you see in the data folder for My World. Every time My World hasn't been able to play the videos, neither has Quicktime. My World simply uses the Quicktime engine for playing the videos, but Quicktime itself has considerably better diagnostic information. |

I entered the activation code, but Keybo still acts as if it is a demo. What should I do? |
This problem on Windows 7 or Window Vista, may be a result of not launcing the program as an administrator in order to enter the activation code. Right click the Keybo icon and 'run as administrator', then enter activation code. |

I lost the password and can't access the administrator functions. How can I reset the password? |
| |
Look in the folder where the student files are kept. In that folder is a file called "checksum.dat". Delete it to remove any password for the admin program. |

I've purchased additional licenses for Keybo and entered the new registration number on the server, but am not able to use Keybo on additional computers. |
| |
If a previous registration number has been used on a client computer, the network will not overwrite the registration number. You will need to delete the registration number from each client computer before entering the new registration number on the server. |

Check to make sure that the paths and permissions are set correctly. This issue is usually the result of the client computers not getting the correct path to the server, or perhaps the client computers don't have the correct read/write permissions to access the server. Review configuration settings as explained in Keybo Installation Guide. |
