If you are attempting to run the K-8 Library, Bestsellers, Skill Sets & Bundles, or any individual title from the above mentioned software and experience a brief black screen or flash, then return to the desktop; the following may be your problem: 1. Windows based operating systems will need to have the Hardware Acceleration set to full. This can be achieved by going to "Display Properties", "Settings" Tab, "Advanced", "Troubleshoot" 2. If your District or School is utilizing any Remote Management software (i.e. Novell ZenWorks, NetSupport, Visions, etc.), there are specific configurations that allow those software packages the ability to function with DirectX. If you are not sure whether your District or School is utilizing one of these Remote Management packages, please contact your Network Administrator to verify.
