Knowing English |
| Grades 2-6. Knowing English provides two different exercises to reinforce student skills for identifying the eight parts of speech. These are straightforward drill and practice sessions with audio/visual reinforcement. One exercises involves identifying a given part of speech in the context of a sentence. In the other, the student must identify a given part of speech from a list of words. In both cases, the correct answer triggers a positive audio/video |
| affirmation, and allows the student to go to the next problem. An incorrect answer is noted audiovisually, and the student is given a second chance. A wrong answer again also says “Sorry” and the correct answer is displayed, and the student goes on to the next program. The program comes with 44 lessons already loaded, with the capacity for a total of 78. Existing lessons may be edited or deleted, and new lessons may be added. Lessons may also be printed with or without answers. An excellent tool to reinforce identification of the parts of speech. |
